Toby's Place provides safe, hotel-style housing for single women or mothers experiencing poverty or are unhoused. With meals, safe shelter, spiritual enrichment, life-skill courses, and case management, we seek to help these women restore broken pieces in their life and provide a beacon of hope for their future.
Refresh
Refresh at Toby’s Place is our overnight shelter for women who are unhoused.
Refresh
Women and their children are offered a safe place to live for up to 30 days. The heart of Refresh is to see women come off the street into a safe environment where they can discover their next best step. Over 50% of Refresh guests transition into the long-term program at Toby’s Place. Others find a new home with one of our partners in the city.

Refresh guests stay in hotel-style rooms, with access to nutritious meals, laundry services, and showers. Staff members are available to maintain a safe environment and to talk with guests about our Renew program.

Renew
The goal of this program is that guests will leave transformed by Christ’s love, equipped with sustainable practices and habits that will help them excel in everyday life. Our 6-month program includes 3 meals, hotel-style rooms, and holistic care. Guests attend 2 classes a day, taught by Oliver Gospel staff members or volunteers who have specific skills to share. Our guests also meet with counselors to learn healthy coping mechanisms as they overcome the trauma they have experienced.
At the core of this program is faith. Daily devotions, prayer time, and Scripture-oriented class curriculum all contribute to the growing faiths of our guests. Graduates of the program can continue residing at Toby’s Place for 12 months after they graduate, giving them a stable place to save money and find full-time employment before moving to permanent housing.
